Carol's secret quilt factory

Here's where the magic begins. Actually, this has to be the third step. The first step is selection of only the finest fabrics after careful scrutiny for flaws and then price haggling at one of the local fabric stores. Second step would have to be a planning session over lunch and or Starbucks stop with sister Linda. *Quilting seems to be a complicated process of several steps.

I'm keeping the dogs quiet in the other room while watching football. (I'm watching, they aren't) We all make sacrifices for the good of the world.

*FYI, this is the first published picture with my new Christmas present ~ digital camera. (Let me know if you'd like candid shots of the quilt process.)

You are too funny! I'm having second thoughts on giving you a camera for Christmas! Quilt making is a VERY complicated process and requires my total concentration--so quit bugging me by taking pictures! :o)

I got a computerized Singer Confidence sewing machine from my parents for Christmas. Wanna come teach me how to use it? (Carol, not Ron). My first project is going to be a quilt made out of my mission clothes. I'm super excited!
