I wanted to do my own post for Jason's Birthday but didn't have any photos like Carol does. (she's a good mom.) So today, I stopped in where he used to work, back when he still lived in Vegas and we'd see him often...and I saw these pictures on their bulletin board. He reminds me so much of my dad when I look at pictures of him. Something must be true about genetics, although, he seems to be much happier than dad, but the looks continue on... like the Mechams, Barkers, Faughts, Kennedys', Clintons, etc etc.....He always had a knack for having friends and hope he continues to do so.

Just looking at those pictures makes me miss him so much!
Ahhh!! I went to his Starbucks this morning too!! And whenever I have the monkey boys, that's where we go. Of course, they always ask where Jason is...
Particularly noticable in the photo on the left, Jason does resemble his grandpa Bob (shape of face, hairline, smile perhaps some personality traits too). Bob was a few years younger than Jason is now when we met. At 24, he was a thin, muscular WWII paratrooper vet, & a Deputy Sheriff. He had beautiful blue eyes, perfect teeth, a nice smile. He joked & teased but was serious too.
P.S.
At Jason's age, your dad was happy too. In later years, his attitude, life and drinking got in the way. I pray Jason is smarter than that.
That is soo cute. I hope he is doing good, and that he calls and visits often :)
