"Barack Obama, concerned about offending Britain and Germany, rebuffed strenuous attempts by President Nicolas Sarkozy of France to persuade the new American president to make a trip to Normandy this week."Am I wrong, but shouldn't he be concerned with offending Americans? I realize this blog should be more positive, but then again, it is MY blog, MY opinion. (As a veteran, I'm finding it hard to have faith in his "agenda" as our President.)

I agree! Thanks for being willing to say it. I think as Americans we should let him know we aren't happy with his choices.
It seems pretty weird to have a President that says Americans are "arrogant" and appears to find so much fault with us. Maybe he needs to just stay over there and let us get a new President that thinks Americans have some worth in life. I hate to admit this, and don't think it's going to happen very often, but I agree with you.
