Dr Swift's referal of Horsford's Acid Phosphate

Rough on Rats, circa 1885 ~ Trouble sleeping? Constipation? Worms? Vermin in the home?
E.S. Wells manufactured a strange combination of products: medicines for the general public, as well as rat poison. Wells claimed that their Worm Syrup treated feverishness (in humans, not in rats), restlessness, and constipation, and would expel worms from the body. It was described on the trade card as "sweet and nice." (the card below not the advertisement above) Wells also manufactured a remedy for corns called "Rough on Corns." This trade card focuses on "Rough on Rats" poison, which was claimed to rid your house of rats, mice, roaches, flies, beetles, moths, ants, skunks, weasels, gophers, moles and muskrats.
If you can find this stuff in Walgreen's, let me know. . . .
The FDA: at least one government agency that's worth having around. Carol goes to a new doctor tomorrow. . . (new to her) and through the magic of Google, she found interesting stuff about him; he obtained his diploma in the Dominican Republic. I know the FDA and AMA wouldn't let him practice here unless he's well schooled....and competent....and certified... We'll keep y'all informed.
